Meteoric Resources has appointed Dr Marcelo De Carvalho as non-executive director, overseeing the Juruena Project in Brazil. Dr Carvalho has vast knowledge and extensive contacts across the Brazilian mining industry and within government sectors. He has been involved in the company’s Juruena project since its acquisition, and has helped build a strong technical team on the exploration front.
Mt Monger Resources has appointed Lachlan Reynolds as managing director and Antony Zebisch as exploration manager. Mr Reynolds has been involved with the company for over a year, as a geological consultant. He will now transition to a corporate management role with ongoing responsibility for the oversight of its exploration programs. Mr Zebisch is a professional geologist with over 17 years of experience managing exploration for gold, copper, iron, manganese and nickel in Western Australia and abroad.
Christopher Achurch will be taking over from Justyn Stedwell as company secretary of Australian kaolin producer and silica sand exploration company Suvo Strategic Minerals from August. Mr Achurch spent 10 years in public practice in the audit and assurance division of RSM Australia. He has been providing company secretarial, corporate advisory and general consulting services to ASX-listed clients.
