Board Moves January 17, 2022

Artemis Resources has appointed current company secretary and chief financial officer Guy Robertson as director. Mr Robertson has been with the company since November 2009.

Creso Pharma has made some changes to its board and management team with the appointments of William Lay as chief executive and managing director, Bruce Linton as non-executive director, and Micheline MacKay as executive director. Mr Lay is an experienced cannabis executive who has managed and supported over C$5 billion in cannabis M&A transactions, including leading the largest acquisition in the history of the cannabis sector. Mr Linton is a cannabis and psychedelics entrepreneur with extensive sector experience as a founder, chief executive, board member and advisor to a number of global cannabis and psychedelic-focused companies. Mrs MacKay has 22 years of experience in regulatory environments including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and government regulated industries with strong focus on business improvements and product development from laboratory scale to commercial operations.

Fin Resourceshas appointed experienced mining and resources strategist and partnership specialist Gautam Varma as managing director. Mr Varma has worked across a number of commodities, including those related to decarbonisation and electrification. Following this appointment, Ryan de Franck will transition from an executive director to a non-executive director, consulting to the company on the development and strategy for the Sol Mar Project. Simon Mottram, non-executive director since June 2020, has resigned from the board.

Kopore Metals has appointed Quinton de Klerk as non-executive director following the resignation of Grant Ferguson from the board. Mr de Klerk is a highly qualified and accomplished mining engineer with more than 30 years of experience in open pit and underground mining environments, as well as providing consulting services across multiple jurisdictions and commodities.
