Board Moves February 18, 2021

Connected IO has appointed Dougal Ferguson as chief executive. Mr Ferguson, a non-executive director since July 2020, has been overseeing the strategic review process and the current capital raising initiatives being undertaken by the company.

Kate Stoney has replaced Carol New as non-executive director and company secretary of Horseshoe Metals and Scorpion Minerals. Ms Stoney is a CPA qualified accountant with over 15 years of experience working with public companies in administration, accounting and company secretarial positions. She has been with these companies since 2019 as joint company secretary.

Norwest Minerals has appointed current chief executive Charles Schaus as a director.

­­TAO Commodities has appointed experienced US-based resource company executive Anastasios Arima as managing director from March. Mr Arima has extensive experience in the development of energy and resource projects in North America. He has been an executive director of TAO since December 2020 and will lead the company in developing the potential for the Titan Project to become a major source of critical metals in the US, progressing its Milford base metals project in Utah, and increasing market awareness of the company with US-based retail and institutional investors. Patrick Glovac will step down as managing director but remains an executive director. Mark Connelly will also step down as non-executive director to pursue other business interests.
