Apollo Minerals has appointed Neil Inwood as executive director and John Welborn as non-executive director effective 22 February. Mr Inwood is a geologist with over 25 years of international experience in the exploration and mining industry, particularly in base metals, gold and speciality metals. He will oversee the day-to-day management of the company including the exploration and development of the Kroussou Project, where drilling targeting shallow (open-pittable) zinc-lead mineralisation at the Dikaki Prospect is scheduled to commence in March. Mr Welborn is a resource company director with significant experience in operating mining projects within West and Central Africa. Mark Pearce, non-executive director for the past 4 years, will step down from the board following those appointments.
Matsa Resources has appointed Pascal Blampain as executive director, with a focus on leading the exploration and technical advancement of the Lake Carey Gold Project. Mr Blampain is a geologist with over 27 years of experience across a range of geological gold settings in Australia and Papua New Guinea. He was involved in regional and near-mine exploration, operational geology, long-term strategic planning and resource development.
Gary Foster has resigned as non-executive chair of Vortiv, having served on the board for over 11 years initially as managing director and a co-founder of TSI India and then as chair at a time when Vortiv established and grew its cybersecurity business.
