Accelerate Resources has appointed Dr Steve Bodon as non-executive director. Dr Bodon has extensive experience in exploration, production and business development.
Tamara Barr has taken over from Stephen Strubel as company secretary of Auric Mining, with Mr Strubel transitioning from an executive director to a non-executive director. Ms Barr has been a practising company secretary and corporate governance advisor for over 17 years, working across a diverse range of corporate sectors and industries in Australia, UK & Europe.
Michael Edwards will transition from non-executive director to part-time executive chair of Auroch Minerals. It follows the resignation of non-executive chair Ed Mason, who has been with the board since 2019. Mr Edwards is a geologist and economist with over 25 years of experience in senior management roles within the private and public sectors.
Calidus Resources has appointed Kate George as non-executive director. Ms George has over 20 years of experience in environmental management within government and industry, working with small mid-cap miners to major resource companies.
Global Energy Ventures has appointed Greg Martin as an independent non-executive chair, with outgoing chair Andrew Pickering continuing to serve as an independent non-executive director. Mr Martin is a highly experienced director and chair of listed and unlisted companies, with over 40 years of domestic and international experience across major energy, utilities, financial services and private equity firms.
Felicity Repacholi-Muir will transition as non-executive director to technical director of Indiana Resources, and will lead all exploration activities across the company’s extensive landholding in South Australia.
Matador Mining has appointed highly experienced Canadian-based mining professional Sam Pazuki as chief executive from May. Mr Pazuki has experience in strategy, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and investor relations. He helped establish OceanaGold as a global mid-tier gold producer, and was instrumental in its expansion into North America. Ian Murray will continue as executive chair to facilitate a seamless management transition, before moving into a non-executive chair role.
Norwood Systems has appointed Phil Marsland, Philip Otley & Dr John Tarrant as non-executive directors, with Michael Edwards and Giles Everist stepping down from the board. Mr Marsland has had a 35-year career covering strategic advisory, marketing and general management. Mr Otley has 30 years of experience in commercial business operations, venture creation and strategy consulting at an international level. Dr Tarrant has had a 40-year career in diverse roles including in accounting and finance, the legal profession, mining, and oil and gas industries.
Oar Resources has appointed Justin Richard as chief executive and managing director, with Chris Gale ceasing as executive chair and becoming non-executive chair on the successful completion of Mr Richard’s probationary period. Mr Richard is a mining executive with over 15 years of experience in senior international and resource sector roles, including as managing director of an ASX-listed resources company. The company has also appointed current general manager of exploration Anthony Greenaway as a non-executive technical director, and Joseph van den Elsen has retired as non-executive director.
