Board Moves February 1, 2021

Mark Clements has been appointed an independent non-executive director and company secretary of Alterra. Mr Clements has over 20 years of experience in capital management, finance, financial reporting, corporate strategy and governance; and has worked for ASX companies across a range of industries. He replaces John Palermo as company secretary but Mr Palermo remains a non-executive director. He also fills the vacancy following Trevor Stoney's departure from the board.

Artemis Resources has appointed current non-executive director Boyd Timler as executive director, with Edward Mead transitioning to a non-executive director role from February 8. Mr Timler has over 38 years of experience in the resources industry, including at senior executive and operator level in both open pit and underground gold and base metals mines. Mr Timler and Mr Mead were appointed to the board in October 2020 and December 2014 respectively.

Joan Dabon has replaced Kim Hogg as company secretary of Australian Agricultural Projects. Ms Dabon has been providing company secretarial services to ASX- and NSX-listed companies in their compliance, governance, capital raising, financial reporting and IPO-related requirements for the past 5 years.

Cardinal Resources has restructured its board of directors following the successful conclusion of the takeover bid by Shandong Gold. Qiang Du, CanWu Zheng, HuiJie Duan and LingQuan Kong are appointed as nominee directors from Shandong Gold. Current chair Kevin Tomlinson and director Trevor Schultz have resigned from the board.

Jess Oram and David Sproule have resigned from the board of Force Commodities. Mr Oram will be stepping down as chair on 8 Feb and Mr Sproule will depart on 12 February, or when the company appoints a new chair and director.

Geopacific Resources has appointed Michael Meintjes as company secretary and Graeme Rapley as project director with oversight of all construction activities on Woodlark Island. Mr Meintjes is an experienced governance specialist and worked for over 30 years with EY in Cape Town and Australia. Mr Rapley is a civil engineer with over 20 years of international experience and has delivered projects in the Caucasus, West Africa, South East Asia and Papua New Guinea.
