Aspire Mining has appointed Emily Austin from Automic Group as company secretary, taking over from Philip Rundell who has stepped down after 11 years with the company. Ms Austin is an experienced company secretary and corporate governance advisor to a portfolio of companies within the technology, education, health, funds and insurance, finance and treasury, oil and gas, and mining sectors locally and internationally.
Dynamic Group Holdings has appointed highly experienced mining services executive Geoff Newman as group chief executive from March 2023. Mr Newman has over 22 years of experience at an executive level within the contracting and mining services sector, and has been involved in growth phases driven organically and via acquisition.
Hannans has appointed Mark Sumich & Andrew Umbers as non-executive directors, and Mindy Ku as company secretary. Mr Umbers has over 35 years of experience in investment banking and is based in London. Mr Sumich has 30 years of corporate and commercial experience, as an entrepreneur and business consultant, and in corporate law and corporate finance. Mrs Ku, managing director of Corporate Board Services, has over 15 years of international experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, management accounting, compliance reporting, company secretarial services and office management for ASX-listed companies, unlisted public and private companies across multiple jurisdictions (Australia, Malaysia, UK, Sweden and Norway). As part of the board renewal process, Damian Hicks, Amanda Scott, Markus Bachmann and Clay Gordon have resigned as directors, and Ian Gregory has resigned as company secretary.
Deborah Ho has replaced Benjamin Donovan as company secretary of Schrole Group. Ms Ho has over seven years of experience in company secretarial, corporate compliance and financial accounting matters.
Zenith Minerals has appointed Andrew Bruton as non-executive director, replacing Julian Goldsworthy who has resigned after 10 years on the board but remains in a consulting capacity. Mr Bruton has over 20 years of direct experience in advancing complex mining, oil & gas and energy projects & transactions within Australia and overseas. He was a specialist lawyer for 20 years for one of Australia’s leading national firms, and was awarded “Most Trusted Mining and Resource CEO 2022“ by CEO Monthly Magazine. The company has also appointed Kevin Seymour to a newly created role as general manager of discovery, gold and base metal assets.
