Cyclone Metals has appointed William Scott as non-executive director from September. Mr Scott has significant experience across mining exploration and operations. He spent 39 years as the owner/manager of pastoral properties in the Murchison Region of Western Australia, where he successfully integrated prospecting and earth moving into his business model.
Jeremy Ryan has replaced Nathan Bartrop as company secretary of Paladin Energy, and will also assume the role of senior legal counsel. Mr Ryan has extensive experience in corporate governance and was the company secretary and legal manager of an ASX-listed gold miner. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1999, and to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2001.
SRG Global has appointed Judson Lorkin as joint company secretary. Mr Lorkin joined SRG Global in 2016 as the group manager for corporate development and will continue in his current role as group financial controller.
Wesfarmers has appointed Alan Cransberg as non-executive director, following the retirement of Wayne Osborn who has been with the board since 2010. The changes will take effect at the upcoming AGM in October. Mr Cransberg had a successful career with Alcoa spanning 36 years, including managing mining, refining, smelting and technology activities in Australia before continuing his career in the US with responsibility for global metals manufacturing. He also has extensive experience in, and passion for, projects to improve gender equity.
