Board Moves August 2, 2023

Jocelyn Bennett has resigned as executive chair of Besra Gold. She has served on the board from November 2016 to January 2021 and again from February this year. Ms Bennett is a director and shareholder of Pangaea Resources, a substantial shareholder of Besra Gold, and was instrumental in injecting significant new finance into the company which enables it to restructure and refocus its efforts on the Bau Gold Project in East Malaysia and its re-listing in 2021. Current executive director John Seton has been appointed interim chair.

Delta Lithium has appointed Steven Kovac as non-executive director, a nominee of Idemitsu Australia who had invested in the company and where Mr Kovac is the chief executive. He had a 23-year career in the mining sector and has extensive technical and operational experience at a site level, including 14 years in senior management and executive level roles.

Podium Minerals has advised of the resignation of Sam Rodda. Mr Rodda was appointed chief executive in January 2022 and managing director in April 2022. Current chair Rodney Baxter will assume executive and managerial leadership responsibilities for an interim period as an executive director.

Rob Sinclair has resigned as non-executive director of White Cliff Minerals. Mr Sinclair has been on the board since November 2021.

Saskia Groen-Int-Woud has retired as non-executive director of Yojee, due to increased demand in executive commitments. She will remain with the company as a member of its advisory board.
