Board Moves April 28, 2023

Karim Nejaim has stepped down as executive director and chief executive of ActivePort Group, in order to focus on some health issues. He has been with the company since May 2021 and was involved in the company’s listing on the ASX in October 2021. Current executive chair Peter Christie will take over as interim chief executive until a replacement has been appointed.

Horizon Minerals has made some changes to its management structure, effective from July, as it transitions into underground mining at the proposed Cannon gold mine. Jon Price will be stepping down as managing director at the end of June, after 7.5 years in the role, but remains with the company as a non-executive director. Current chief operating officer Grant Haywood will become chief executive from July. Mr Haywood has been with the company for more than 5 years and has a deep understanding of the planning & operation of gold projects in Western Australia.

Mantle Minerals has appointed Kieran Witt as joint company secretary. Mr Witt is a Chartered Accountant who has advised ASX-listed companies on capital raisings, mergers & acquisitions, statutory accounting requirements and corporate compliance.

Peter Watson has resigned as non-executive director of New Century Resources, having been with the company since January 2018. His departure follows the successful acquisition of the company by Sibanye-Stillwater and Sibanye Resources Australia.

Mathew O'Hara, non-executive director of Pearl Gull Iron, has taken over from Chris Hunt as company secretary.
