Amana Living has appointed John Langoulant to its board. Mr Langoulant was the chief executive of Australian Capital Equity and Oakajee Port and Rail, and holds several board positions including Westpac Group Western Australia chairman, Telethon Kids Institute chair, Committee for Economic Development Australia, WA State Advisory Council president, and National Disability Insurance Agency board member.

Collective giving circle 100 Women has appointed an executive officer and seven new board members. Business News 40under40 winner and entrepreneur Sue Pember has been appointed as the executive officer. Francis Burt Chambers lawyer and Murdoch University adjunct professor Maria Saraceni will serve as chair. Engenium managing director Wayne Peel is the vice-chair. Recently appointed Wesfarmers executive general manager group accounting and assurance Alex Willcocks has been made treasurer. Adrian Gurgone is taking care of grants, Lorraine Gregoriadis is in charge of membership, Sarah Greenough is secretary and Sarah Bagshaw will organise marketing.

Future Battery Industries Cooperative Research Centre has appointed Mark Woffenden and Lisa Paul as directors. Mr Woffenden is the chief executive of the Mineral Research Institute of Western Australia. Ms Paul is an enterprise professor of public policy and sits on several boards including Navitas, Programmed and APM and is a member of council at Bond University.

Tourism WA has appointed Dianne Bain as a commissioner to the Tourism WA board until 2020. Ms Bain has more than two decades’ experience in the media, marketing and communications industry, is the managing director of Bain Media, chairperson of Activate Perth, and sits on the advisory board of Perth-based wellness startup Nuut.

The Australia Petroleum Production & Exploration Association has announced Claire Wilkinson will be its WA director. Ms Wilkinson joins APPEA after working at Total E&P Australia as asset manager for its involvement in the Itchys LNG joint venture with INPEX. Prior to working at Total Ms Wilkinson worked at Shell. She will start her role in September.

Crown Resorts has promoted two staff as new general managers – Trudy Cook and Anthony Mauro. Ms Cook has been hotel manager at Crown Towers Perth for two years and has been promoted to general manager of the hotel. Anthony Mauro was previously hotel rooms division manager before being made the general manager of Crown Metropol and Crown Promenade.

Rocky Bay has announced Lui Pangiarella will join its board. Mr Pangiarella is a facilitator and executive coach specialising in organisational performance, strategy, culture and leadership development. He has 20 years’ experience in mergers, acquisitions and integrations, project management and finance after working for Wesfarmers Group and as a consultant.

Jason O'Meara has joined Pragma Lawyers. Mr O’Meara previously worked for CS Lawyers servicing banking and finance clients including Macquarie Bank, GE Money and Wizard Home Loans, and has experience as a dispute resolution lawyer. He graduated from Murdoch University with a bachelor of laws degree and started his career in 2007.

Alex Da Silva and Doug McKay will join executive search firm Gerard Daniels. Mr Da Silva will be a practice leader in the finance and strategy team after acquiring over ten years’ experience recruiting at a senior professional and executive level. Mr McKay has been appointed a principal consultant in the public sector, not-for-profit and HR executive search team. He has 21 years’ talent management experience in the public sector, community, not-for-profit and industrial sectors.
