Real estate company Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Nick Charlton to its Perth office as joint head of capital markets WA. Mr Charlton will work alongside Ben Younger, the other half of head of capital markets WA who joined the company in late 2022. Mr Charlton has 20 years’ experience in commercial property sales and in his new role, he will be advising institutional and private clients on their acquisitions and disposal strategy.
Alex Willcocks has joined the West Australian Symphony Orchestra board in the same week as the opening of the 2023 season at Perth Concert Hall. Ms Willcocks is Wesfarmers' executive general manager for group accounting and assurance, and Wespine Industries chair. She is also a director of the Group of 100 body for ASX chief financial officers and the treasurer of the organisation 100 Women.
Chalice Mining has announced a shift in its executive team. The company’s chief financial officer Richard Hacker has been appointed to the newly-created role of general manager for strategy and commercial. Mr Hacker has worked for Chalice since 2006. Chris MacKinnon has been the company’s business development and legal manager since 2020 and has stepped into the chief financial officer position.
Rebecca Clarke has become the 13th principal at Methodist Ladies' College when she was officially appointed to the position on March 10. Ms Clarke has relocated from South Australia where she had worked as the principal of Walford Anglican School for Girls for the past ten years. Ms Clarke was officially welcomed to the school with a Service of Commissioning event.
Mosman Park-based disability services Rocky Bay has appointed Mark Kolinac as chief financial officer set to lead the corporate services division of the organisation. Mr Kolinac will join the Rocky Bay in early May, transitioning from his current role as chief financial officer at Baptistcare. Mr Kolinac has also worked as chief financial officer at CraigCare and financial services manager at the University of Notre Dame.
Real estate company LAWD has appointed Lukas Byrns to its national team as development transactions and advisory director. Mr Byrns is based in Melbourne and will work closely with the company’s senior leadership team. Prior to this role, he worked as Cushman & Wakefield's head of metropolitan markets. LAWD is Australia-wide with offices in WA, Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
