The Chamber of Arts and Culture WA has appointed Kylie Ashenbrenner, Tim Cooper and Anthony Hasluck to its board. Ms Ashenbrenner has been Wesfarmers head of sustainability strategy for more than three years and has a variety of experience working in the ESG realm. She formerly served 11 years at ERM: Environmental Resources Management between 2009 and 2020. Mr Cooper has vast experience in the resources industry and currently works as a commercial executive at Fortescue. He also served a stint as APM chief financial officer in London. Mr Hasluck founded Clarity Communications in 1999 and has served as managing director since the communication firm’s inception.
Perth-based Megan McCracken has been selected as chair of Stella, a national not for profit providing support for female and non-binary authors in Australia. Stella is most well-known for its annual Stella Prize program. Ms McCracken has joined the board as chair, while continuing to work simultaneously as Pleiades Consulting leadership and team coach, Freight and Logistics Council of WA chair, Pacific Energy non-executive director and Derwent Search advisory board member and senior advisor.
Accounting firm William Buck WA has promoted chartered accountant Deborah Chin to partner within the company’s audit and assurance division. Ms Chin has worked at the South Perth-based firm since 2011, elevating through various roles including senior auditor, manager, and most recently, principal. Meanwhile, William Buck WA also promoted Kuan Yin Lau to principal in the audit and assurance division and Stuart Mansfield to principal in the business advisory division.
Perth-based Flinders Financial has selected employee Chelsea Stronach as director, appointing her to lead strategic initiatives and client relationships at the firm. Ms Stronach has worked at Flinders since 2008 after she graduated as a chartered accountant. Over the past 16 years, Ms Stronach has built her career with the company and developed her skills in private business services, taxation and more.
Commercial real estate agency Burgess Rawson has promoted Luke Randazzo to equity partner and director. Mr Randazzo commenced with the real estate agency as a trainee in 2016 and has since elevated within the ranks of the company to his latest appointment. Prior to this, Mr Randazzo was working as associate director and has a client base that includes Westfield, PWC, Western Power and Korda Mentha.
Consumer healthcare platform Healthengine has appointed Sydney-based David Watson as chief operating officer, a position in which he would be driving the Perth-headquartered company’s commercial strategy, strategic partnerships and customer value. Mr Watson has worked senior roles within the technology space, including at LinkedIn, Salesforce and emotional wellbeing site Sonder.
