Chris Field has been reappointed as the Western Australian Ombudsman. Mr Field is currently Australia’s longest serving ombudsman, and the only person in the organisation’s history to be appointed to four terms of office. Mr Field took the position after a career in law and economics, during which he served as executive director of the Consumer Law Centre Victoria.

P&N Group has appointed Monish Paul to its board. Mr Paul has substantial non-executive experience, serving on the boards of Western Power, Landgate and Therapy Focus. He previously held roles as an executive at IBM, Deloitte, Arthur Andersen and the state and federal governments. Prior to this appointment, he served as chair of P&N’s brand advisory council. 

Stuart Peterson will be head of geology at Global Lithium Resources. Mr Peterson brings more than 16 years’ industry experience, including in the development of lithium projects in Australia. He has worked as exploration manager for companies including Nimy Resources, Neometals, Australian Mines and Lithium Power International.

Cor Cordis has made Tom Birch partner at his Perth office. Mr Birch joins the company from KPMG where he worked as a registered liquidator. Prior to this role, he spent more than 17 years at Ferrier Hodgson in a range of roles, including as director.
