Rochelle Macdonald has been appointed as chief executive of Sea Swift. Dr Macdonald has more than two decades’ experience in the ports and marine industries across regional Australia, including serving as chief executive of Mid West Ports Authority in Geraldton for nearly three years. Prior to this role, she held senior management positions at North Queensland Bulk Ports and the Dampier Port Authority (now known as the Pilbara Ports Authority).
Perron Institute for Neurological and Translational Science has made Denise Cheir director of marketing and fundraising. Ms Cheir most recently worked as executive manager business and communications for the Foundation for the WA Museum. She previously spent 12 years at Crown Perth as general manager public relations. Ms Cheir holds non-executive board roles with Ronald McDonald House and WA PCYC.
Oliver Mortensen is joining Bardoc Gold as chief financial officer. Mr Mortensen is a chartered accountant and has worked in the mining industry since 2010, holding various finance leadership roles for Thiess, Barrick, BGC Contracting and seven years with Newmont.
