Lucio Di Giallonardo has been appointed chair of national not-for-profit the Leukaemia Foundation of Australia. Mr Di Giallonardo is managing partner of accounting and professional services firm HLB Mann Judd and has been a board member of the Leukaemia Foundation since 1995. Prior to joining HLB Mann Judd in the 1980s, Mr Di Giallonardo worked as manager of Hendry, Rae & Court.
Future Battery Industries Cooperative Research Centre chief executive Stedman Ellis has announced he is retiring from his position at the end of 2021. Mr Ellis was the centre’s inaugural chief executive and led its establishment. He previously worked as chief operating officer western region at Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association. Recruitment firm Derwent is assisting the board search for a successor.
Andy Wilde is joining Elevate Uranium as exploration manager. Dr Wilde has 35 years’ experience in exploration and research and has held senior roles at companies such as Paladin Energy, Deep Yellow, 92 Energy and BHP. He has worked around the globe in countries including Namibia, Burkina Faso, Bolivia and China, predominantly exploring for uranium, but also gold, lithium, coil, oil and gas.
