Tim Boekhoorn is an associate director of Hames Sharley and the practice’s residential portfolio leader. Mr Boekhoorn has worked predominately in the residential and multi-residential field for the last 20 years, firstly for a small design-based practice in Perth and then moving to Mirvac Development Group in Perth and Sydney where he developed his skillset by working on many multi-residential and master-planned community projects in project leadership, design and documentation roles. His move to Sydney allowed national exposure and influence in his role as national design associate, combined with being WA state design co-coordinator and also design roles in Queensland and Victoria. His ability to develop creative residential concepts that integrate with the overall urban context is noted in the award-winning work he has been involved in.
