Steven Vamos

Steven Vamos has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology, internet and online media industry.

He led Microsoft Australia and New Zealand from 2003 to January 2007 before moving to the US to become the company’s online business head of worldwide sales and international operations. He was also chief executive of ninemsn. Mr Vamos worked for Apple Computer in the 1990s after spending 14 years in senior management roles at IBM Australia. Mr Vamos became chief executive of online accounting and business services platform Xero in April 2018.
