Steven Ciobo
Steven Ciobo is an Australian politician who has been a member of the House of Representatives since the 2001 federal election, representing the Division of Moncrieff. He is a member of the Liberal National Party of Queensland and sits with the Liberal Party in federal parliament. Mr Ciobo was the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment in the Turnbull Government from February 2016 to August 2018. He had previously served as Minister for International Development and the Pacific from September 2015 to February 2016, and as a parliamentary secretary in the Abbott Government from September 2013 to September 2015 (initially to the Treasurer and later to the Minister for Foreign Affairs). In August 2018, he moved to the Defence Industry Portfolio under the Morrison government. Mr Ciobo decided to retire from politics at the 2019 federal election.
