Co-founder, Co-owner / SevenZeroEight Gin Collection
Shane Warne is an Australian cricket commentator and former international cricketer who captained the Australian national team in One Day Internationals. He is widely considered as one of the greatest bowlers in cricket history.

Mr Warne played his first Test match in 1992 and took over 1000 international wickets in Tests and One-Day Internationals. His 708 Test wickets was the record for the most wickets taken by any bowler in Test cricket, until it was broken in December 2007. He retired from international cricket in January 2007.

He was inducted into the Cricket Hall of Fame by Cricket Australia in 2012, and inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2013.

Post-cricket, Mr Warne has regularly worked as a cricket commentator, predominantly on Australia's Nine Network. In 2010, the Nine Network commissioned a chat show hosted by Warne, entitled Warnie. Celebrities interviewed on the programme included then captain of the Australian cricket team Ricky Ponting, James Packer, singers Chris Martin and Susan Boyle. The program experienced spiralling audience figures and was axed before its final scheduled episode.

Mr Warne is a part-owner of the SevenZeroEight gin distillery. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, he announced that the company would turn its production from gin to alcohol hand sanitiser.
