Scott Winter has extensive experience in mine development and a broad range of technical, operational and construction expertise having worked in underground and open cut operations across a range of commodities including coal, copper, lead zinc, iron ore and lithium.
Prior to joining Perenti in July 2019, Mr Winter was the chief operating officer of mining at Mineral Resources, and managing director of a coal company where he led the acquisition and development of a greenfield coal mine in Australia. He also held various operational and leadership roles within the Thiess organisation during his 12-year tenure.
Mr Winter graduated with an Honours degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Queensland, and an Executive MBA from Melbourne University and Kellogg School of Management.
