Richard Dammery

Richard Dammery was appointed chief legal officer and company secretary of Woolworths on September 2014. Prior to this, he was a senior corporate partner with law firm MinterEllison. Mr Dammery's previous experience includes various general counsel and general management roles, as well as working in private legal practice. He was general counsel and company secretary of Coles Group prior to its acquisition by Wesfarmers. Mr Dammery holds a BA (Hons) and LLB from Monash University, an MBA from the University of Melbourne, a PhD from University of Cambridge, and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
