Mary Woodford

Mary Woodford is a senior legal practitioner with experience in the private and public sector, most recently as general manager of advocacy at the Law Society of WA. She previously held the roles of senior legal counsel at the University of Western Australia and consultant, corporate & commercial with Jackson McDonald Lawyers. She has also advised on legal and policy matters as principal policy officer to the Minister for Health and as director legal & policy with the Australian Medical Association (WA). Ms Woodford served as a member of several committees for legislative reviews and reform and in recent years, she has focused on providing corporate and commercial legal advice to clients in the private sector including statutory authorities, health and education institutions and not-for-profit organisations. She also has experience as a company secretary and is a non-executive director of HBF and chair of MercyCare and Central Regional TAFE.
