Mark Upton

Mark Upton joins Deloitte from EY where he was a partner in the R&D team. His career began as a geologist with global gold company, Normandy Mining, before he moved to London to take up a business analyst role. He has now amassed over 15 years of experience advising and preparing strategically focussed R&D claims across multiple industries, predominantly in resources, agriculture and emerging technology. He has been the lead partner on a number of R&D claims for Australia’s largest mining companies.
