Mark Darian-Smith is a senior partner in King & Wood Mallesons’ Energy, Resources and Projects group. Based in the Perth office, Mr Darian-Smith specialises in advising on strategic and contentious issues on major infrastructure, construction, commercial contracts, trade practices, torts and disputes for clients operating in the mining, energy and resources sectors. With over 27 years’ experience in litigation and arbitration, Mr Darian-Smith has successfully conducted major strategic commercial litigation and arbitration for a wide variety of clients in the energy and resources, construction and financial services industries. Mr Darian-Smith practises in the Supreme Court and the Federal Court of Australia in relation to international arbitration matters. He also has extensive experience in the resolution of disputes outside the court system.
