Liz MacLeod
Liz MacLeod has a background in physiotherapy and more than 20 years of management experience within the health sector.

She held senior leadership roles within WA Health for over 10 years with particular experience in leading complex transformational change, clinical planning and health service redevelopment within the health environment.

Ms MacLeod was chief executive of the East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS), a statutory health authority in Western Australia, from May 2016 to April 2023 and was responsible for the delivery of health services from population-based prevention programs through to tertiary level services for a population of over 708,000 people in Perth’s eastern metropolitan region. She also oversaw the WA Health branches’ COVID-19 pandemic response, which included one of the largest testing facilities in Western Australia. Prior to EMHS, she was the executive director, commissioning of Fiona Stanley Hospital where she had oversight and accountability for commissioning of the hospital.
