John Kanowski

Chief Science Officer / Australian Wildlife Conservancy

Dr John Kanowski has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (English Literature). He completed his PhD in the Ecology of rainforest possums and tree-kangaroos before working as a research fellow investigating the biodiversity value of rainforest restoration projects. Dr Kanowski joined the Australian Wildlife Conservancy in 2008 as a regional ecologist, and has managed its science program since 2014.
