James Mactier has a deep knowledge of financial markets, the gold industry and the broader resources landscape in Australia and abroad.
Mr Mactier has had a distinguished career in banking, having been joint head of the metals and energy capital division of Macquarie Bank for 15 years until his retirement in April 2015. He also has wide ranging experience in project and corporate finance, resource project assessment, equity investing, commodity and currency hedging and trading in the metals and energy sectors globally. Mr Mactier has established strong industry and government relationships in his high profile leadership role at Macquarie.
