Geoff Simpson

Geoff Simpson was the managing partner of the Perth office of global law firm Allen & Overy, and the global head of its mining group, from May 2010 to January 2023. He remains a partner and a member of the Global Partnership Selection Committee.

Prior to establishing Allen & Overy's Perth office in 2010 with the other Perth-based partners, Mr Simpson was a partner in a leading Australian domestic law firm where he held various leadership roles including partner-in-charge of the Perth office, and head of the National Energy and Resources Group. He also sat on its national board for two terms.
