After 13 years working in three different customer service sectors, Gavin Hogg became a police officer in different operational areas including forensic investigations. After more than 8 years, he left WA Police and purchased a small business focussing on customer service delivery. He subsequently sold the business and worked for the WA Department of the Attorney General, Court and Tribunal Services Division, Court Risk Assessment Directorate as a Court Risk Assessment Officer. He then moved into the role of a business performance analyst to the District Court of WA within their Business Services team, where he accurately reviewed, interpreted and analysed data and statistics relating to the Court’s performance and efficiency in service delivery to court users. In September 2013, Mr Hogg joined Serco Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) in the Safety and Incident Management Service, the Project Management Office assisting with the coordination of the Facility Manager Service Line Acceptance Testing program. In October 2014, he moved to the FSH Risk, Quality and Compliance (RQC) team as the Quality and Compliance (QC) Officer managing complaints, compliments and feedback before being appointed to the role of QC Lead responsible for delivering QC services to the FSH contract. In June 2015, Mr Hogg was appointed WA RQC Advisor for Serco Asia Pacific operating across four contracts operated by Serco Asia Pacific in WA.
