Daniel Kirk has broad experience of corporate and commercial transactions including the sale and purchase of companies and businesses, raising capital through the equity capital markets, joint ventures, farm-ins, international funds, refinancing and restructurings. He also advises both listed and unlisted companies on corporate governance and director issues, commercial contracts and other general corporate matters. Mr Kirk is a partner in Lavan’s Corporate Services team. His experience spans the industrial, agribusiness, property, financial services and energy and resources sectors.
Prior to joining Lavan in 2014, Mr Kirk was a partner at King & Wood Mallesons where he worked in the energy, resources and projects group specialising in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, he worked in the M&A group at Slaughter and May in London. Mr Kirk has strong transactional experience in Australia, China, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Europe, Brazil and United States.
