Charles Sweeney has a civil and electrical & instrumentation background and is well experienced in structural, mechanical and piping disciplines. He is also experienced in project design & setup, execution, commissioning and project close-out, contracts/commercial management and scheduling.

Mr Sweeney joined Civmec in 2006 as a site supervisor and has since taken on the roles of project manager in 2009, general manager of mining and infrastructure in 2013, general manager of metals and minerals in 2015, before becoming executive general manager of construction in 2016.
