Brian McMurdo

Brian McMurdo is a special counsel in Lavan’s Planning, Environment and Land Compensation team. He focuses on planning, environment, land development, public infrastructure, land acquisition and land compensation, having had more than 35 years’ experience in these areas. Mr McMurdo practised within the government and private sector. In his previous role as senior assistant crown solicitor, he acted for the government in areas of land compensation, land acquisition, major projects and public infrastructure and was involved in all aspects of planning and environmental processes. Mr McMurdo's practice involves strategic advice, negotiations, statutory approval processes and proceedings in all jurisdictions.
