Brett Darley was appointed chief executive of Quadrant Energy in June 2015. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, both in Australia and overseas, with technical, operational and commercial roles across varied assets, onshore and offshore. Prior to moving to Apache Energy in 2012, Mr Darley was vice president of drilling & completions at Woodside Energy during the Pluto development and deep water exploration campaigns. He was appointed managing director and regional vice president for Apache Energy in July 2014. Mr Darley holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Queensland and is a Chartered Engineer. He is a Board Member of the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA), and a member of the Curtin Business School Advisory Council.
