ASX-listed automotive panel and repair shop conglomerate, AMA Group, has locked in improved pricing with key insurers, effective from July after concluding service agreement negotiations with all key players. The renegotiated prices are expected to result in meaningful growth across the company's Australasian network of panel repair workshops that already look set to benefit from a lack of public transport use during COVID-19.

Automotive conglomerate, AMA Group, has locked in its first fleet customer in SG Fleet who manages a 140,000 strong fleet of vehicles. The deal with the fleet management, vehicle leasing and salary packaging firm should add 4000 new repair jobs a year to AMA's network of panel and mechanical repair workshops across Australia and New Zealand.

Rapidly expanding ASX-listed automotive conglomerate, AMA Group, has negotiated revised terms with Insurer Suncorp, for its Capital SMART panel repair business, with the new terms to include increases in average repair pricing and increases in volumes. AMA said the new agreement with Suncorp recognises the additional costs associated with repairing modern vehicles safely, including the increasing costs of new technologies such as Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems.

The AMA Group has acquired New Zealand's Fully Equipped Group that will complement its existing automotive component accessory division. The Fully Equipped Group manufactures and distributes automotive spare parts and accessories, predominantly for the off-road and utility market. Fully Equipped is based in Hamilton, NZ and has distribution centres on both the north and south islands. The company said it expects the acquisition to be EPS accretive by FY20.

ASX-listed, heavyweight automotive conglomerate, AMA Group, has completed a multi-million dollar, transformational acquisition of Insurance giant, Suncorp's Capital S.M.A.R.T panel business, at an implied enterprise value of $420m. It has also purchased Suncorp's complimentary ACM Parts business for $20m. The deal has propelled AMA into the exclusive ranks of billion-dollar market capped companies and comes gift wrapped with a 25-year service agreement with Suncorp.
