In late 2024, Wolfram entered a deal to acquire the Mt Carlton gold project in Queensland from the receivers of Navarre Minerals.
Wolfram was working towards an ASX listing in 2025, when it became the target of a takeover offer by Indonesian company Bumi Resources.
