Westview Group is a diversified family investment group owned and operated by brothers Grant and Brad Johnston. Its core business is the fabrication and distribution of steel reinforcing products, through Perth-based Bestbar Industries (established in 1995) and Brisbane-based Wire Industries (acquired in 2024). It also owns Unipod, a Melbourne-based manufacturer of expanded polystyrene products, and Bitberry, a digital solutions company. Westview subsidiary Alter Steel is pursuing plans to build an electric arc furnace (EAF) steel mill in Brisbane. The group has 750 employees and annual revenue of $650 million across its multiple operations.
