Gavin Futcher has contributed his expertise and knowledge for 20+ years to the Johnston family group of companies.
Mr Futcher was promoted to Bestbar executive general manager in 2018, influencing operations across Australia. In 2025, he became group commercial manager for the Johnston family's holding company Westview Group.
He has held the position of chairman of the Steel Reinforcement Institute of Australia management committee as well as the vice president on the SRIA board, and most recently has been elected to president of the SRIA board.
Mr Futcher completed a 3-year national diploma in Business Management while working for Reinforcing Steel Holdings, one of the largest and more prominent steel reinforcing steel companies in Southern Africa.
