Founded in 1993, WASA is a global leader in the superalloy production.
It specialises in forging and ring rolling applications in aerospace, power generation and oil and gas applications.
It counts some of the largest aviation companies, including Airbus, Boeing and Roll-Royce, among its customers.
Its facilities include the WASA Melting Facility in Canning Vale – a 6,800-square metre manufacturing facility, including melting furnaces and other equipment.
The company operates an integrated forging facility in Albury in New South Wales, which it acquired in 2013.
WASA is wholly owned, through several subsidiaries, by US-based conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway.
