Samson Oil & Gas Limited, an independent energy company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, exploitation, and development of oil and natural gas properties in the United States. The company produces crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids. It primarily holds interest in the North Stockyard project in Williston Basin, North Dakota; the Hawk Springs project in Goshen County, Wyoming; and the Roosevelt project in Roosevelt County, Montana. The company also owns interest in the State GC Oil and Gas field in Lea County, New Mexico; the Sabretooth Prospect in Brazoria County, Texas; and the Prairie Falcon project.
In April 2020 the ASX delisted Samson after the company had suspended trading in its shares for an unacceptably long period.
The company entered administration in September 2020.
