Kairiki Energy Limited engaged in the exploration, evaluation, and development of oil and gas properties in the Philippines. The company held interest in the service contract 54, which covers an area of approximately 5,418 square kilometers located in north-west Palawan basin. It also explored for gold in Western Australia. The company was formerly known as Yilgarn Gold Limited and changed its name to Kairiki Energy Limited in September 2007. In August 2016 the company moved from Perth to Sydney and later that year announced the proposed acquisition of Bowen Coking Coal in a reverse takeover style deal.
