J.J. Richards & Sons is Australia’s largest privately owned waste management company. The family-owned business has been operating since 1932. Headquartered in Sydney, it has extensive operations up and down the east coast. Nationally, the company employs over 2,000 people, has a fleet of over 1,600 vehicles and performs 2.2 million domestic garbage, recycling, sanitary and green waste collection services under 42 government contracts. JJ Richards moved into the WA market in May 2016, when it opened a depot at Bassendean.
