AssociationsThe Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) was Australia's peak body representing the interests of surveying and spatial science professionals, combining the disciplines of land surveying, engineering and mining surveying, cartography, hydrography, remote sensing and spatial information science. In November 2022, SSSI and Spatial Industries Business Association members voted to merge and form the new peak geospatial body Geospatial Council of Australia.
