The Department of Industry, Science and Resources is a department of the Australian Government responsible for consolidating the Government’s efforts to drive economic growth, productivity and competitiveness by bringing together industry, energy, resources and science.
It was previously known as Department of Industry and Resources; Department of Industry and Science; Department of Industry, Innovation and Science in September 2015; and the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources in February 2020.
