Catalano’s Seafood is a West Australian family business that was established by a one-time Waroona potato grower, the late Francesco Catalano, in 1969. Starting with a single shop in Cannington, it has grown to be a major wholesaler and retailer.
The business is run by Francesco’s sons, managing director Nick and business development manager Paul. The business includes third generation family members — Nick’s sons David, Andrew and Josh and his sister’s son Mark Lupica.
The business has eight retail stores across Perth, including its factory direct outlet in Bassendean. Its products are also stocked at numerous independent supermarkets.
