Catalano’s Seafood was a West Australian family business that was established by a one-time Waroona potato grower, the late Francesco Catalano, in 1969. Starting with a single shop in Cannington, it grew to be a major wholesaler and retailer. It listed on the ASX but struggled to maintain its success.
It was delisted from the ASX on 29/7/24 with all capital sold to Avior Asset Management. The influx of capital from the new owners sees the business continue as a going concern.
