The state government has awarded contracts worth $17 million for 98 new stand-alone power systems and partial funding for a $9.4 million biofuel plant.
Welshpool-based Balance Utility Solutions has been selected as the engineering and construction contractor for Terregra Renewables' five-megawatt Mobilong solar farm, located north of Murray Bridge in South Australia.
Decmil Group has won three contracts worth about $34 million, with two of the contracts awarded to a joint venture established with a local engineering business owned by former Horizon Power boss Rod Hayes.
