Ahrens is a fourth generation, South Australian headquartered family business with construction and engineering operations throughout Australia. Its aim is to be the most cost-effective supplier of commercial and industrial buildings and structural steel, mining services and infrastructure, materials handling and rural products.
It established a Perth base in 2008 and has since expanded into the Pilbara region. In 2015, it backed a management buyout of BlueScope Water to recreate Pioneer Water Tanks. It also bought the Pilbara operations of Savannah Engineering.
In March 2023, Ahrens Group acquired welding and fabrication business Taylors Engineering WA.
