Royal Resources is pleased to announce that it has been successful in its application for a cofunding drilling grant in Round 3 of the Northern Territory Government's "Bringing Forward
Discovery" initiative.
Royal has been awarded $88,560 to fund 50% of the proposed diamond drilling programme on the
Yatjalu Tenement in the Ngalia Basin, Northern Territory.
Yatjalu, part of Royal's Ngalia Uranium Project, is centred on the Yuendumu Thrust, approximately 12 km to the SSE of the 10,000t U Bigrlyi deposit (Energy Metals/Paladin), Figure 1.
The proposed drilling is designed to test for uranium mineralisation within the Mount Eclipse Sandstone adjacent to the Yuendumu Thrust Zone, a setting similar to that of the Bigrlyi deposit and other uranium occurrences in the Basin.
