McGrathNicol partner Simon Read has been appointed to the board of directors at LandCorp.

Monty House, chairman of the WA Government's land development agency LandCorp, today announced the appointment of financial consultant Simon Read to the LandCorp Board of Directors.
Until recently, Mr Read was a partner at McGrath Nicol and now provides strategic advice on financial and banking relations on behalf of Birch Advisory.
Mr House believes Mr Read will bring a range of diverse skills gained from an impressive 26 year career to complement and enhance the LandCorp Board and the organisations future growth.
"Mr Read's experience spans the finance, agriculture, property, construction, mining, forestry, manufacturing and transport sectors.
He is a welcome and valuable addition and we look forward to his involvement and insight in helping LandCorp to meet Western Australia's long-term community development needs."
Mr Read is a Bachelor of Financial Administration and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
In announcing Mr Read's appointment, Mr House said it was also important to acknowledge retiring Board member Daniel Donovan, Head of Property at the National Australia Bank in Western Australia, and thank him for his commitment and contribution.
