BIBLE House at 161 St Georges Terrace, opposite King Street, is on the market, with analysts suggesting the site is worth around $5.5 million.
“The property is for sale by expression of interest,” Jones Lang Lasalle director of industrial Richard Parry said.
“It’s basically a redevelopment site of 1,873 square metres.
“It’s suited to a variety of uses, including office, hotel or residential development subject to council approval.”
In addition to the St Georges Terrace frontage, the site also is accessible via Mercantile Lane, which runs between St Georges Terrace and Mounts Bay Road.
Interest in the building is expected to come from property developers and builders.
“It’s very rare that a site like this would come onto the market,” Mr Parry said.
It’s understood the property is currently owned by businessman Boon Low.
